West Bromwich Albion vs Chelsea - Premier League preview and odds
May 12, 2017 20:00pm - The Hawthorns
Premier League
Champions in waiting Chelsea will travel to the Midlands knowing that victory would secure them a fifth Premier League crown. The hosts themselves have little left to play for and are without a win in six.
Two teams in contrasting form
A run of four straight wins has moved Chelsea to within three points of securing the Premier League title. The Blues have the second best form of any team over the last six games in which they scored in all but one. Since the disappointing defeat to Manchester United back in April, Antonio Conte`s men have not looked back, winning all their games despite strong pressure from Tottenham Hotspur. In the end it was the North London side who buckled under the strain, falling at West Ham last week.
The Stamford Bridge side have scored at least three goals or more in each their last four matches and look set to wrap up the title with games to spare in the Italian`s first season in charge. The Londoners have only lost three of the last 25 meetings between the two sides and are unbeaten in their last eight encounters.
Football Writers` Player of the Year and the PFA Player of the Year, N`Golo Kante, could become the first outfield player in the history of the league to claim consecutive winners medals with two different clubs.
Meanwhile, West Brom seem to be slipped into holiday mode since breaking the 40-point barrier with victory over Arsenal back in March. Since then, the Baggies have picked up just two points from a possible 18, scoring just two goals in the process. Whats more, they failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five.

Betting odds and tips
Since finishing 10th last season, the Blues have gone from strength-to-strength and with an FA Cup final still to come, a double looks like a realistic prospect.
With West Bromwich is such poor form, there is nothing to suggest that they will spoil Chelsea`s Friday night Premier League title celebrations.
