World Cup Qualification Europe - Wales vs Serbia
November 12, 2016 20:45pm - Cardiff City Stadium

World Cup Qualification - Group D
Third-ranked Wales can leapfrog current group leaders Serbia with a win at the Cardiff City stadium on Saturday night.
Big night in Group D as contenders all go head-to-head
In what could be one of the tightest World Cup qualification groups in the European section, the four main contenders in Group D will all go head-to-head on Saturday night, with Austria hosting Republic of Ireland while Wales take on Serbia in Cardiff.
Chris Coleman`s side have remained unbeaten in their opening three qualifying matches but would have been disappointed with their 1-1 draw at home to fifth-ranked Georgia last time out. They can now make amends by securing what would be their first ever win over Serbia.
A win would lift the Welsh above their opponents in the table and could even leave them top of the group if the Republic of Ireland fail to win in Austria.
Meanwhile, Serbia will travel to the UK in the knowledge that they were the last team to beat Wales in their own backyard in a World cup qualifying match. On that occasion, they ran out 3-0 winners and will be hoping for a similar result this weekend.
Slavoljub Muslin`s men are top of Group D on goal difference and are unbeaten in their last six World Cup qualifiers. During the current campaign, all three of their games have produced over 2.5 goals.

Betting odds and tips
Wales have yet to beat their opponents (Serbia, Serbia & Montenegro or Yugoslavia) in 11 previous meetings and they have only drawn against them three times. As a result the 23/10 on offer for the draw looks tempting.
In addition, Southampton`s Dusan Tadic has scored in all of Serbias qualifying matches so far and is well-priced to find the net again on Saturday night.
You can back the Draw at 23/10 and Dusan Tadic to score anytime at 10/3 - both with Bet365.
