Premier League
Liverpool will look to get their top four quest back on track when they host second-ranked Manchester United at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.
The Reds have had a disappointing campaign so far with defensive instability once again rearing its ugly head. An injury to Adam Lallana and the brief absence of Sadio Mane through suspension have not helped their cause but they will still feel they should be closer to the top two having fallen seven points adrift with just seven games gone.
Prior to the international break, they could only manage a 1-1 draw away to newly-promoted Newcastle and they must now face one of their oldest and fiercest rivals. With just one win in their last seven in all competitions, the prospects dont look good for Klopp`s men but they have a good overall record against the top teams and should be up for this one.
With Sadio Mane now absent again through injury, the Merseyside team will be relying on the likes of Firmino, Salah and Countinho to provide the attacking threat. However, it is at the other end that their problems persist having conceded 20 times in their last 12 games, keeping just two clean sheets in the process.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will arrive at Anfield full of confidence after a strong start to the campaign which has seen them maintain the pace with title favourites Manchester City. With Romelu Lukaku now leading the line, they look a much more potent force than last season. Whats more, the addition of Nemanja Matic in the deep midfield area has also allowed Paul Pogba to flourish in midfield.
The Red Devils have notched up 32 goals in 10 games this term and have won all but one of their matches. However, in arguably their last game against genuine top class opposition they lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final. This weekend`s fixture looks like the toughest challenge they have faced since then.

Betting odds and tips
Jose Mourinho will know not to underestimate Liverpool at home. He showed them the ultimate respect last year by playing for the draw and may utilise a similar tactic this year but with Lukaku as an outlet on the break. In fact, the Belgian could be well worth backing in the anytime goal scorer market.
The home side have netted 12 times in five fixtures at Anfield this term, scoring in every game. They may decide that attack is the best form of defence in this game and a repeat of last year`s 0-0 draw seems unlikely. In fact, both sides should be expected to get on the score sheet.
The draw often comes into the equation when these two sides meet and this weekend should be no exception with the 1-1 correct score looking good value.
You can a correct score of 1-1 at 11/2 or both teams to score at 6/4 with Bet365.
