League One preview and odds: Gillingham vs. Bury
November 14, 2015 15:00pm - MEMS Priestfield Stadium
League One
The highlight of this weekends League One fixture list is the top-six clash between Gillingham and Bury at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Gillingham defending unbeaten home record in the league
Gillingham won their first five home games in a row this season and despite a couple of recent draws, they still remain undefeated on home soil with a record of W6 D2 L0. The leagues second-ranked goal scorers are currently sat in third place in the table just one point behind leaders Walsall.
However, they come into this game on the back of three straight defeats in all competitions. A 3-2 league loss away to Walsall was followed by a 3-0 FA Cup defeat at Stevenage and a Football League Trophy loss at home to Yeovil Town via a penalty shootout.
Bury looking to regain away form
Bury drew their first two away games of the season, then won the next four in a row. Since then they have lost two in a row on the road with the most recent loss coming at the hands of Shrewsbury by two goals to nil. They come into this game on the back of a 4-3 home win against Blackpool in the league and 4-0 hammering of Wigan at home in the FA Cup.
Before their defeat at Bradford in October, David Flitcrofts team went on a ten-game unbeaten run which included six wins on the trot. They are currently positioned at sixth-place in the league, just five points behind the league leaders.
Team news
Gillingham will have Brennan Dickenson available after he missed the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy defeat to Yeovil through suspension. Defender Adedeji Oshilaja could also feature after missing the last two months with injury.

Betting odds and tips
It remains to be seen how Gillinghams recent defeats will affect their confidence, however, they still remain an unbeaten force on home soil. Coral are offering 6/5 on the home win, and that price seems like good value considering that Gillingham have a 75% win rate at home and are playing a team that have lost their last two away games.
The price of 6/5 implies a percentage probability of 45.5% so the odds are firmly weighted in the punters favour.
