Copa del Rey preview and odds: Las Palmas vs Eibar (3-2)
January 13, 2016 21:00pm - Estadio de Gran Canaria
Copa del Rey - Second-leg
Las Palmas came out on top after a pulsating first leg of Copa del Rey football, and will now look to get the job done back on home soil against La Liga rivals Eibar.
Las Palmas enjoying life under Setien
Ever since Quique Setien arrived on Gran Canaria to take over as Coach of Las Palmas, there has been an air of quiet confidence around the club. The mild-mannered boss has lifted his team out of the relegation zone and they now stand on the verge of a Copa del Rey quarter-final appearance.
The Canary Islanders have lost just one of their last five La Liga games and come into this match on the back of a 1-1 home draw against Malaga. In the previous round of the competition, they beat fellow top-flight outfit Real Sociedad 3-2 on aggregate.
Eibar flying high in La Liga
Eibar have taken full advantage of last seasons relegation reprieve and are currently ranked sixth in the Primera Division table. If they can maintain their position, they could be playing in Europe for the first ever time next season.
They come into this game on the back of three straight La Liga wins over Espanyol (home), Real Betis (away) and Sporting Gijon (home). Significantly, they have performed much better at home this season, and will need to be at their best to overcome a side that has lost just one of their last seven at home in all competitions.
Team news
The home side will be without Felix Asdrubal, Javi Castellano, Hernan, Angel Lopez and Pedro Bigas.
Meanwhile, Gonzalo Escalante and Izet Hajrovic will be suspended for the visitors, while Mikel Arruabarrena and Jaime are both injured.

Betting odds and tips
The home side have the advantage and are much stronger at home under their new boss. Since Quique Setien took over, only Deportivo have been victorious at Estadio de Gran Canaria. In contrast, Eibar have won just one of their last six away games in all competitions.
The home side can be backed at 7/5 with Bet365 to win the game over 90 minutes.
