Going: Soft (heavy in places)
In the day`s big race, top stayer Paisley Park is the horse to beat. Emma Lavelle`s gelding looks set to give punters something to cheer about by concluding a stunning season in style.
With four wins to his name, the seven-year-old has shot up in the ratings, still looks to be progressing and has done more than enough to convince punters he can be the star of Day Three. Happy on any ground, he is a solid stayer with a turn of pace. He bossed the Cleeve Hurdle trials meeting, coming home well clear of a respectable field. He still has plenty of more to offer and looks the bet of the day at a price of 7/4.
The Tom George-trained Black Op reverts to hurdles after a failing to take to the bigger jumps. Looking back to before his Novice Chase efforts, he was runner-up in last year`s Ballymore Hurdle and could go on to be a solid stayer. Third in his first run over this distance at Cheltenham, he has plenty of scope to improve and should tempt some each-way money with prices as high as 14/1 available.
