Tottenham Hotspur vs AFC Bournemouth - Premier League preview and odds
April 15, 2017 12:30pm - White Hart Lane
Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur will look to continue their relentless pursuit of league leaders Chelsea when they host a Bournemouth side who are winless in three this Saturday lunchtime.
Six wins from six as Spurs keep pressure on leaders
Tottenham Hotspur have won their last six Premier League matches in a row and their last 11 in a row on home soil. But despite their superb form, they are still seven points adrift of league leaders Chelsea with seven games left to play.
Mauricio Pochettino`s men have only conceded four goals in their last 10 matches at White Hart Lane and remain unbeaten in the league on home soil this term. Last time out they powered to a 4-0 victory over 10th-ranked Watford, a win that ensured that they now have the best goal difference in the league.
Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth have lost just one of their last five Premier League matches, a 1-3 home defeat to Chelsea last time out. However, they have only won one of their last 10 matches away from home, although they did manage to draw their last three in a row including a 2-2 stalemate at Anfield.
Eddie Howe`s men look to be all but safe in the league but with they will want to confirm their top-flight status for next season as soon as possible. An unlikely win away to Spurs would probably give them enough points to guarantee survival and would also scupper the homes side`s slim title hopes.
Team news
Harry Winks (ankle), Erik Lamela (groin) and Danny Rose (knee) are expected to miss out for the home side, while Victor Wanyama (lower back) and Michel Vorm (knee) are both doubtful.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to continue without the services of Andrew Surman (knee), Adam Federici (knee) and Callum Wilson (ACL), while doubts still remain over the fitness of Junior Stanislas (groin strain) and Dan Gosling (knee).

Betting odds and tips
Tottenham have won their last six matches in a row, are unbeaten at home and have scored at least one goal in all of their home matches. Their last defeat on home soil came back in May of last season when they fell 1-2 to Southampton.
Bournemouth have drawn their last three away matches but overall they have struggled on the road this season. As a result, the home side should can be expected to prevail easily against the league`s third-worst defence.
