Crystal Palace vs Hull City - Premier League preview and odds
May 14, 2017 12:00pm - Selhurst Park
Premier League
A point will do for hosts Crystal Palace but visitors Hull City will be targeting a win in Sunday`s crucial relegation battle at Selhurst Park
Big game for both sides with Premier League status on the line
Crystal Palace can retain their top flight status with a point on Sunday afternoon. However, they come into this game on the back of three straight defeats including two on home soil. Last time out, they were demolished 5-0 at Manchester City leaving Sam Allardyces men feeling the pressure with just two games remaining.
The Eagles` poor run of form has coincided with the absence of on-loan defender Mamadou Sakho, who will be missing again this weekend. The weakened defence could cost Palace against a side that will be going all out to win this game.
Hull City Premier League destiny was slipped through their own hands last week when they fell at home to already-relegated Sunderland. With Swansea City winning against Everton, the Tigers were plunged back into the drop zone, their title bid dealt a devastating blow,
Marco Silva`s men still have to play Tottenham Hotspur on the final day and will likely need all six points. However, they could still go down even if they win both games. Their away form does not bode well for this game with 14 defeats in their last 16 and 13 goals conceded in their last five alone.
