Premier League
Southampton will attempt to win their third game in a row when they welcome tough-to-beat Leicester City to St Mary`s on Saturday afternoon.
Saints ascending
After a slow start to the season, Southampton seem to be finding their stride and are now just three points away from the top-four zone in the Premier League. They come into this game on the back of two 3-1 wins having beat Swansea away and Chelsea at home in the process.
Coach Ronald Koeman will be hoping to keep that momentum going with a win against one of this year`s surprise packages. Three points would thrust them further into the top-ten and keep them in touch with the European chasers.
In the last game, the Saints fought back from a goal down to inflict defeat on Jose Mourinho`s under-performers.
Foxes still going strong
After losing their first game of the season against a rampant Arsenal side at the end of September, Claudio Ranieri`s men rekindled their unlikely charge on the top four with a win away at Norwich in the last game week.
With eight games of the season played, the Foxes are still just three points away from first place and do not appear to be budging anytime soon. However, they have conceded more goals than any team in the top 15 and this will be a concern for the Italian Coach.
On the flipside, they have outscored everyone apart from Man City thanks largely to the goals of Jamie Vardy and Rihad Mahrez. As a result, six out of eight of their league games have ended with Over 2.5 goals and every game has finished with both teams scoring.
Team news
The Saints are hoping to welcome back Jordy Clasie, who has been missing with an ankle problem. Meanwhile, their opponents could also have a key player available as Nathan Dyer is expected to return after missing out with a knee injury.

Betting odds and tips
Leicester have yet to lose away from home this season and could cause problems for the Saints. The home side have already suffered two defeats on home soil having gone down to Everton and Manchester United. The bookies fancy Southampton but for a team that has won half and drawn half of their away games, Leicester are well priced for the win at 4/1 with Betvictor.
Both teams have scored in all of Leicester Citys Premier League matches this season. You can back that outcome at 8/11 with Bet365.
Six out of eight games for both sides have ended with Over 2.5 goals. That result can be backed at 5/6 with Skybet.
