Spurs will look to return to winning ways when they welcome poor travellers Hull City to White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
Tottenham still in top four hunt despite blip
After going unbeaten for the first 12 games on the season, Tottenham Hotspur have now lost two of their last three Premier League matches and have only won two of their last eight. As a result, the North London side are currently occupying fifth spot in the table, three points adrift of the Champions League qualification places.
Mauricio Pochettino`s men have scored in every home game this season and remain unbeaten at White Hart Lane, having won five and drawn two. They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Manchester United. In their last home game, they eased to a 5-0 win over struggling Swansea City.
Meanwhile, opponents Hull City have won just one of their last 13 Premier League matches - a run that has left them second from bottom in the table, just a point above Sunderland.
Last time out, the Tigers looked to be on target for all three points against Crystal Palace before a late strike from former loan player Fraser Forster reduced their haul to a single point.
