Premier League preview and odds: Chelsea vs Everton
January 16, 2016 15:00pm - Stamford Bridge
Premier League
Chelsea will be looking to extend their five-game unbeaten streak on Saturday when they welcome an Everton side who have won just one of their last eight Premier League games to Stamford Bridge.
Blues unbeaten in five
Chelsea have not lost a Premier League match since Jose Mourinho departed back in December, however, they have failed to make any significant progress up the Premier League table. While the Blues have improved, so have the teams around them, and as a result, they remain in 14th position in the table, six points clear of the relegation zone.
In their last match, they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by 13th-ranked West Bromwich Albion. The Londoners took the lead twice in the game but were pegged back each time. The result marked the third draw in five games for Guus Hiddink`s men.
Everton stuck in bottom half
A run of eight games with just one victory has sunk Everton into the lower half of the Premier League table. They now sit in 11th place just four points ahead of their opponents.
They come into this game on the back of a hard-fought 0-0 draw away to title favourites Manchester City. Prior to that they held another top-four side, Tottenham, to a 1-1 stalemate at Goodison Park.
Team news
The home side will be without Radamel Falcao, Chrsitan Atsu and Eden Hazard.
Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez will have to cope without the services of Tom Cleverley, James Mc Carthy, Tyias Browning, Tony Hibbert and Seamus Coleman.

Betting odds and tips
Chelsea are slowly finding some form under caretaker boss Guus Hiddink, but have been held to 2-2 draws in their last two home games. Everton are struggling to find the winning touch in matches despite remaining competitive, however, the Toffees have been decent away from home having won three, drawn six and lost one on the road this season
Based on the current form of both teams a draw looks very likely and can be backed at 11/4 with Bet365.
