Championship preview and odds: Hull City vs Brighton and Hove Albion
February 16, 2016 19:45pm - KC Stadium
Championship
Two teams at the top end of the Championship table will go head-to-head on Tuesday night, when recent pace-setters Hull City welcome fourth-ranked Brighton and Hove Albion to the KC Stadium.
Hull keen to hold top spot
Hull City`s recent good form has seen them rise to the top of the Championship at the expense of faltering Middlesbrough. A win on Tuesday would put them clear at the top for another week, while defeat would leave them level on points with their opponents but ahead on goal difference.
They come into this game on the back of a 2-0 win away to struggling Blackburn Rovers. On home soil, Steve Bruce`s men have won four games in a row - scoring fourteen goals and conceding just one in the process.
Brighton rising again
After a strong start to the season, Brighton and Hove Albion embarked on a seven-game winless run that saw them drop down the Championship table. Since then, Chris Hughton`s men have bounced back with a run of four straight wins to bring themselves back in contention for an automatic promotion place.
Last time out, the Seagulls secured a 3-2 win at home to Bolton Wanderers, and prior to that they enjoyed a 3-0 win at home to Brentford. Away from home, they have been beaten just once all season, having won four and drawn the other nine.
