Coral Cup Preview
March 16, 2016 14:10pm - Cheltenham
Cheltenham Festival
A large field means some big prices but are there any standout runners in the Coral Cup Handicap race?
One horse that has been causing a bit of a stir is Diamond King. Gordon Elliott`s entry won last time out and is likely to start as favourite on Wednesday ahead of Politologue. The Paul Nicholls-trained five-year-old is relatively raw but has shown great promise since unseating his rider at the last at Cheltenham back in December.
Paul Nicholls will also be running Baoulet Delaroque, another five-year-old who caught the eye with impressive outings at Wincanton and Huntingdon back in February. If the price is right, he could be worth a punt in the Each-Way market.
Betting odds and tips
In the win market, Diamond King looks like a sharp choice with a price of 8/1 available.
Each-Way punters should be tempted by the 14/1 on offer from Bet365 for Baoulet Delaroque to snatch a top five place.
Remember, Bet365 are offering guaranteed best odds on all Cheltenham races and a 100% deposit bonus up to £200 for new accounts.
