Glenfarclas Cross-Country Chase Preview
March 16, 2016 16:10pm - Cheltenham
Cheltenham Festival
After winning this Race in 2012 and 2014, Balthazar King makes a welcome return after recovering from serious injuries sustained at last year`s Aintree Grand National.
A win here would provide the perfect ending to what has been a remarkable comeback for the 12-year-old. He has plenty of Cheltenham success under his saddle and thrives in the cross-country environment. By all accounts, he is running as good as ever and could mount a challenge.
Standing in the way of the fairytale ending is Josies Orders. The Enda Bolger-trained eight-year-old was held up by heavy going last time out but should run well on the firmer ground this week.
