Manchester United vs West Bromwich - Premier League Preview and Odds
April 15th 2018 16:00 Old Trafford
Champions League
After spoiling their rival`s title party last weekend, Manchester United can now influence matters at the foot of the table by sending West Bromwich Albion back to the second tier when the two teams line up at Old Trafford on Sunday.
United showed their good and bad sides last weekend, getting outplayed in the first half at Manchester City before coming from two goals down to record a fifth consecutive Premier League win. The second 45 minutes was the best they have played all season and topped off their most fruitful run of the campaign. They will now look to consolidate second place in the table ahead of their other rivals, Liverpool, by putting their lame opponents out of their misery.
The Red Devil`s 71 -point haul is their best since Alex Ferguson quit back in 2013 - that, despite heavy criticism of boss Jose Mourinho. Someone else who has come in for a lot of flak is Paul Pogba. However, he put in the kind of performance that fans would have been expecting when the club parted with a record fee for his services two years ago.
If the Baggies lose and Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town and Swansea City all win, they will be mathematically relegated. However, even if they win this game, there is no realistic way back for the Midlanders. They are 11 points from safety with just five games to play and are already thinking about life in the Championship.
Caretaker boss Darren Moore will stay in charge until the end of the term when the rebuilding process can begin. With a record of just two points from their last 30, it is hard to see the visitors taking anything from this game,

Betting odds and tips
United have kept more clean sheets that any other team (16) and have shut out the opposition in 11 of their home games. What`s more, they have yet to concede at home to a team from the bottom half of the table.
The Home Win to Nil looks like the best bet in this one.
