Owls improving under new boss
Portuguese Head Coach Carlos Carvalhal continues to impress in South Yorkshire where he has led Sheffield Wednesday to a strong start in the Sky Bet Championship. They began the season well and now sit comfortably in the play-off zone however, automatic promotion will be the main target for Steve Bruce`s men. They are unbeaten in their last four having drawn at home to QPR and Blackburn and won away at Nottingham Forest and Cardiff.
The Tigers have the joint-best defensive record in the second-tier having conceded just seven goals all season. Four of those goals were leaked on the road, however, they have not conceded away from home in their last two outings.
Team news
Hull will be without centre-back Curtis Davies who is still recovering from injury. Meanwhile, Robert Snodgrass and Mohamed Diame are still on the long-term sick list.
