Premier League preview and odds: Stoke City vs Leicester City
December 17, 2016 15:00pm - Bet365 Stadium
Premier League
Stoke City will look to return to the top 10 when they welcome reigning champions Leicester City to the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, the visitors need a win to put some distance between themselves and the relegation positions.
One defeat in last four for Stoke
Stoke City have lost one of their last four and just two of their last 11 matches in the Premier League - a run that has seen them rise from the drop zone to a comfortable mid-table position.
The Potters could find themselves back in the top 10 with a win a Saturday, should other result go their way. Mark Hughes` men have lost just one of their last six on home soil and come into this game on the back of a 0-0 stalemate against Southampton. In total, they have conceded just two goals in their last five home matches.
Meanwhile, Leicester City`s inconsistent season continued on Tuesday night with defeat away to Bournemouth (1-0). They have now failed to win any of their last 10 away games in the league.
The Foxes have scored a single goal in eight of their last 10 away matches but have not scored more than once on the road since April. In addition, they have conceded at least one goal in each of their last nine matches.
Key stats
- Leicester City have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their away matches.
- All but one of Leicester`s points have been earned at home.
Team news
The home side will be without the suspended Marko Arnautovic, while Phil Bardsley (knock), Geoff Cameron (knee), Jack Butland (ankle), Stephen Ireland (leg) and Ibrahim Affelay (ACL) are all still out injured.

Betting odds and tips
Claudio Ranieri`s men face another tough test on the road and will do well to take anything from this game against a Stoke side who have been beaten just twice in the last 11 matches.
You can back the home side to Win to Nil at 7/2 with Bet365.
