Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Chase Preview
March 17, 2016 17:30pm - Cheltenham
Cheltenham Festival
This race has an interesting line-up with Cause Of Causes and Doctor Harper virtually inseparable in the betting market. The former already has a festival win under his and was an admirable 8th in the Grand National. He hasn`t shown much since but would have prepared with this race in mind.
Doctor Harper has much less experience at this kind of distance but has been developing well. The David Pipe-trained gelding won over the fences at Leicester last time out and could be in contention. However, there are still some big question marks over his credentials for this race.
Outside of those two, it is Silvergrove who catches the eye. The Ben Pauling-trained eight-year-old has run and placed at 20 furlongs and above on a regular basis, and stayed on impressively to win in his last outing at Kempton.
Betting odds and tips
While everyone else argues over who to back out of the two favourites, why not slip an Each-way bet on Slivergrove?
He can be backed at 14/1 with Bet365.
