Ryanair Chase Preview
March 17, 2016 14:10pm - Cheltenham
Cheltenham Festival
The name that immediately stands out in this line-up is Vatour. The Willie Mullins-trained bay gelding was originally lined-up for the Gold Cup but has since been switched back to this race, and to be honest, it should suit him much better.
His second-placed outing in the King George raised question marks about his staying power but that should not be an issue in the Ryanair chase.
With Vatour`s entry now confirmed, the money will pile in and punters may not get much value from backing the Ricci-owned seven-year-old.
Those looking for an Each-way punt might want to check out Vibrato Valtat. The Paul Nicholls-trained long-shot may well benefit from the extended trip and could be available a big price.
Betting odds and tips
Vatour will be odds-on for the win but Vibrato Valtat could grab a place and offers great value.
He can be backed at a stonking 40/1 with Bet365.
Remember, Bet365 are offering guaranteed best odds on all Cheltenham races and a 100% deposit bonus up to £200 for new accounts.
