Once again punters will be relying on Willie Mullins for a banker late on Thursday afternoon as Limini line-ups as odds-on favourite. The chestnut mare has won two in two over the hurdles after previously impressing on the flat. However, both of those rides were peppered with mistakes and her jumping remains a slight concern.
The Nicky Henderson-trained Bloody Mary has an impeccable record but much of that occurred before making the switch from France. Although, she did impress when leading the field home at Taunton back in February.
At six years old, Smart Talk is slightly more experienced and has perhaps the most impressive record of the top contenders. Four wins in her last five including a Grade 2 on good ground at Doncaster last time out bodes well for this debut event.
