Premier League preview and odds: West Ham United vs Hull City
December 17, 2016 15:00pm - London Stadium
Referee: L. Mason
Premier League
West Ham United will look to extend their unbeaten run to three games when they host Hull City at the London Stadium on Saturday. The visitors themselves are out to break a five-game winless streak.
Just one defeat in last four gives glimmer of hope to Hammers
West Ham United will approach this game with cautious optimism after a recent run of four games featuring one win, two draws and one defeat. During that spell, they held Manchester United and Liverpool away from home and beat Burnley in London to lift themselves to 16th place in the table.
On home soil, Slaven Bilic`s men have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five, a run that suggests they might finally be settling into their new London Stadium home. However, they have only managed to score more than one goal in a home game on one occasion this season (back in September) and may need to improve their strike rate if they want to fulfil their top 10 ambitions.
Meanwhile, opponents Hull City have won just one of their last 14 Premier League matches and are currently second from bottom in the table, just a point above Sunderland.
Away from home, the Tigers have lost their last six in a row and have failed to score in the last four. They come inot his game on the back of a comprehensive 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in midweek.
