Premier League preview and odds: Manchester United vs Norwich City
December 19, 2015 15:00pm - Old Trafford
Premier League
Manchester United will be looking for their first win in five matches in all competitions on Saturday when they welcome third-from-bottom Norwich to Old Trafford in the Barclays Premier League. United continue to frustrate
Manchester United have won just two of their last seven Premier League matches and are winless in their last three. As a result, they have dropped to fourth in the table and will now be looking over their shoulders at the likes of Spurs and Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, the Old Trafford faithful are growing increasingly restless with the lacklustre performances of Louis van Gaal`s team.
They come into this game on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to new boys AFC Bournemouth. Prior to that they were dumped out of the Champions League by Wolfsburg (3-2) and played out a pair of draws against West Ham (0-0) and Leicester (1-1).
Norwich finding some form
Norwich may be stuck in the bottom three but they have improved their form over the last five games having lost just twice in that spell. Unfortunately, they have only won one game in their last 11 overall, having drawn four and lost the other six.
Despite their league position, there is just two points separating the Canaries and the four teams directly above them in the league. If they secure a win or even a draw on Saturday, they could lift themselves out of the bottom three.
They come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Everton last Saturday. After enduring a first-half onslaught from the Toffees, Alex Neil`s men put in a determined second-half display and managed to hold on for a point after Wes Hoolahan had equalised on 47 minutes.
Team news
The home side will be without the injured group of Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rojo, Wayne Rooney, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw, while Ander Herrera, Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian remain doubtful.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to cope without Andre Wisdom and Matt Jarvis.

Betting odds and tips
Despite UnitedÂ’s woes, they are unbeaten at home in the league having won four and drawn three of their seven games. Remarkably, they have only conceded one goal (to Liverpool) at Old Trafford in the current campaign.
Norwich have lost to nil on their last two road trips and have conceded in every away game that they have played. The home Win to Nil can be backed at 5/4 with Bet365.
