Watford will look to continue their remarkable revival under Nigel Pearson when they host an out-of-sorts Tottenham Hotspur at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

The Hornets are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and have won four of their last five in the Premier League, their only dropped points coming in the 1-1 draw away to Sheffield United. That run has lifted them out of the relegation zone into 17th-place. Before Pearson arrived they looked certain to face the drop.

On home soil, they have won their last three games in a row and have only conceded once goal in their last four fixtures. With so much confidence running through the squad, they will be confident of taking something from this game. They have already beaten two top-seven sides since Pearson arrived.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur will hope to turn their season around after picking up a dismal 30 point for their first 22 games. They are nine points outside of the top four and 31 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.

They have won just 50% of the games they have played since Jose Mourinho took over in November and have won just one of their last five Premier League matches.

In their last away game, Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Southampton. Prior to that, they drew 2-2 at rock-bottom Norwich City. Remarkably, they have won just two of their last 17 Premier League matches but both of those wins came under the Portuguese boss.
