West Ham United vs Leicester City - Premier League preview and odds
March 18, 2017 15:00 pm - London Stadium
Premier League
West Ham United`s bid for a top 10 finish will continue when they play host to Champions League quarter-finalists Leicester City at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Hammers still struggling to settle into new home
After an early season wobble, West ham United are right back in contention for a top 10 finish. However, with a point`s tally of just 33 points, a poor run of results could send them plunging back down the table.
Much of their issues this term have centred on their move to their new London Stadium home. The Hammers have struggled to settle in Stratford, having already lost six times at the former Olympic venue. Compare that to last season when the Londoners were beaten just three times all season at their old Boleyn Ground home.
Slaven Bilic`s men have won just one of their last four at home and conceded at least one goal in each of their last 7 matches overall.
Meanwhile, despite recently disposing of their Premier League-winning coach Claudio Ranieri, Leicester City will come into this match on a high after negotiating their way to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Foxes overcame a first-leg deficit against Sevilla to book their place in the last eight of Europe`s elite competition.
However, the Foxes have yet to reverse their poor away form in the Premier League and are still without a goal on the road in 2017. Having said that, they have yet to play a domestic away game under the guidance of caretaker boss Craig Shakespeare, so that could all change this weekend.
The East Midlands side have conceded at least one goal in each of their last seven league encounters and 67% of their matches have produce over 2.5 goals.
Team news
The home side will have to cope without the services of Mark Noble (knock), Angelo Ogbonna (knee surgery), Diafra Sakho (hamstring strain) and Gokhan Tore (quadriceps strain), while Robert Snodgrass (ankle sprain) and Michail Antonio (shoulder) are both doubtful.
Meanwhile, Molla Wague has a dislocated shoulder and will miss out for the visitors, while Nampalys Mendy (knee) is a doubt.

Betting odds and tips
Leicester have found some form at the right time and should be backed to claim their first away goal in the league since December. However, they have only kept one clean sheet on the road this term, so the home side can also be expected to mark the score sheet.
