Premier League preview and odds: Tottenham Hotspur vs. West Ham United
November 22, 2015 16:00pm - White Hart Lane
Premier League
Two London-based teams level on points in the league will jostle for position on Sunday when Tottenham Hotspur welcome West Ham United to White Hart Lane in the Barclays Premier League.
Spurs unbeaten at the Lane
Tottenham Hotspur have yet to be beaten on home soil in the league and have only conceded four goals in the six games they have played at White Hart Lane this term. Only Manchester United have let in fewer goals at home this season.
In total, Mauricio Pochettinos men have suffered just one defeat in the current campaign. That loss came on the opening day of the season away to Manchester United. Since then they have played 11 games without defeat.
Last time out, they earned a point after playing out a 1-1 draw away to North London rivals Arsenal. They now face another club from London who are aiming to leapfrog them in the table.
Hammers looking to overtake Spurs
West Ham followed up their first away defeat of the season (at Watford) with a draw at home to Everton. If they can get back to winning ways this weekend, they will overtake Spurs and move into fifth place in the table.
The Hammers have lost just one of the last nine games, having won five and drawn the other three. They have won four of their six away games including victories at Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City. Their total goal tally of 23 is the third best in the league and 14 of those goals have come from midfield players.
Team news
Spurs could welcome back Moousa Dembele from a calf injury, while Nabil Bentaleb, Erik Lamela and Nacer Cahdli will all be missing.
Meanwhile, West Ham will be without top score Dimitri Payet and fellow striker Enner Valencia, while Pedro Obiang, Diafra Sakho and Alex Song could all play some part.
