La Liga preview and odds: Deportivo La Coruna vs Barcelona
April 20, 2016 20:00pm - Estadio Municipal de Riazor
La Liga
After three straight league defeats, Barcelona now face a trip to Galicia to face 13th-ranked Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga.
One win in 17 games for Deportivo La Coruna
With just one league win to their name since the middle of December, it is remarkable that Deportivo La Coruna have remained clear of the relegation zone for the entire season. No team has won less games than the Galician side this term (seven) and no team has drawn as many matches (17). However, only the top four teams have lost fewer than their total of nine defeats.
Their habit of drawing games continued in the last gameweek, when they held Sevilla to a 1-1 draw away from home. That game followed a disappointing home defeat to in-form Las Palmas. Their only home win in 2016 came against relegation battlers Levante.
Barca slump continues
Barcelona will be out to end their mini-slump on Wednesday night when they make the trip west to face their 13th-ranked opponents. The reigning league champions have lost their last three league games and are now level on points with Atletico Madrid at the top of the table.
The Catalonian team have a good record at La Riazor, having scored 16 goals in their last four visits. A return to that kind of form would help to relieve some of the pressure on Coach Luis Enrique.
Team news
The home side will be without the injured trio of Federico Cartabia, German Lux and Fabricio.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to cope without Thomas Vermaelen, Rafinha, Jeremy Mathieu and Sandro Ramirez, while Aleix Vidal is doubtful.

Betting odds and tips
After yet another record-breaking season in which Barca have hardly rested their top players, it is no wonder they are looking slightly jaded. However, they have a good record away to Depor and will be favourites to bounce back with a win on Wednesday.
Having said that, the away win offers little value, so it may be worth placing a small bet on the Home Double Chance.
You can back the Deportivo/Draw Double Chance at 7/2 with Bet365.
