Burnley made it five wins in a row with a home win over Leicester City last time out and are now unbeaten since early February. Next up is another home game against a Chelsea side struggling for consistency.

The Clarets were tipped by many as relegation candidates at the start of the season but now look set to claim a Europa League place. They have a nine point lead over the team in eighth and are only two points behind Arsenal. The only way they can be denied a place in Europe is if Southampton win the FA Cup.

Burnley kicked off the current Premier League campaign with a 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge so a game against Chelsea will hold no fear for them. Only an 11-game winless streak in the winter has prevented Sean Dyche`s men from challenging for the top five. That run was halted with a change of formation and they havent looked back since.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have not looked like a team defending their Premier League crown this season. They are 27 points behind new champions Manchester City and seven points adrift of the top four. Champions League football now looks out of the question Antonio Conte`s men.

They come into this game on the back of a 3-2 win away to Southampton in which they came from two goals down. Prior to that, they put in a woeful display when drawing at home to West Ham United. It now looks likely that the Italian boss will not be in charge next season.

With just three wins, one draw and five defeats in their last nine matches, Chelsea are a team struggling for form. Their defence has been leaking goals with nine conceded in the last four games - however, they have netted at least once in seven of their last 10 away games.
