Copa del Rey Final preview and odds: Barcelona vs Sevilla
May 22, 2016 21:30pm - Estadio Vicente Calderón
Copa del Rey Final
Having both picked up major silverware in the seven days, Barcelona and Sevilla will now look to add to their respective trophy hauls as they go head-to-head in the final of the Copa del Rey.
Barcelona retain league title despite late wobble
After retaining their league title, Barcelona will now attempt to hang on to another trophy that currently bears their name. Last year`s winners have had yet another successful season, with the only disappointment being their early exit from the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid.
That defeat came in the middle of a late-season wobble that saw them lose four out of five matches and also put their league title-holders status in jeopardy. However, the Catalan side soon recovered from their blip and bounced back in emphatic style.
They come into this match on the back on a five-game winning streak in which they scored 24 goals without reply.
Sevilla break Euro record
Sevilla did have not had the best of league campaigns this season - finishing as the only team without an away win in La Liga - however, on the European circuit, they have excelled once again.
Unai Emery`s men became the first team ever to have won UEFA`s second-tier competition three times in a row when they beat Liverpool 3-1 on Wednesday night. It also marked their fifth triumph overall in the competition - a record that has taken them just 11 years to achieve.
The Andalucian side conceded just two goals on their way to the Copa del Rey final and both of those came in the semi-final clash with Celta de Vigo. They defeated Barcelona 2-1 when the teams met in the league in Seville back in October and lost by the same score-line in the reverse fixture.
Team news
Sandro Ramirez could return to the squad but Sergi Samper is likely to miss out for Barca.
Meanwhile, Sevilla will have to cope without Steven N`Zonzi who is suspended, while Michael Krohn-Dehli, Benoit Tremoulinas and Marco Andreolli are all injured.

Betting odds and tips
Barcelona have had a full week to rest after retaining their league crown at Granada last weekend and come into this match in devastating form. Sevilla will be tired following their midweek Euro exploits and apart from a solid second half display on Wednesday, they have not shown great form in recent weeks.
Both teams have scored in the last nine meetings between the two sides.
