La Liga preview and odds: Real Sociedad vs. Sevilla
November 21, 2015 15:00pm - Anoeta Stadium
La Liga
The post-Moyes era at Real Sociedad will begin this weekend as new Coach Eusebio Sacristan leads his side out to face Sevilla in San Sebastian.
Sacristan looking for positive start
After a string of poor results and uninspiring performances, David Moyes` Basque odyssey was brought to end just 12 months after it began. His appointment was a gamble that did not pay off for the Spanish club, who have now turned to former Barcelona B-Team boss Eusebio Sacristan in an attempt to salvage their season.
After falling 2-0 at lowly Las Palmas in their last game, La Real now have the chance to get their new era off to a positive start as they face 10th-ranked Sevilla at the Anoeta Stadium.
Sevilla on high after Real Madrid victory
Sevilla have already beaten Barcelona and Real Madrid this term but thanks to their poor start and disappointing away form they remain firmly planted in mid-table. The Andalucian club has failed to win a single game on the road in all competitions this season and must now travel to the Basque Country to take on struggling Real Sociedad.
Unai Emerys team are already playing catch-up to their top four rivals and will need to to start picking up more points on the road if they are going remain in the hunt for European places. They are going into this match on the back of an uplifting 3-2 win over title challengers Real Madrid, and will be further boosted by the fact that their opponenets have not won at home all season.
Team news
Asier Illarramendi is fit again for the home side and could feature at the weekend, while Jonathas, Alain Oyarzun and David Zurutuza will all miss out. Joseba Zaldúa has returned to training but remains a slight doubt.
Meanwhile, Unai Emery will be without the injured quartet of Beto, Daniel Carrico, Gael Kakuta and Nicolas Pareja.

Betting odds and tips
This match features a team that has not won at home all season, and a team that has not won away. With those kind of stats, the draw starts to look tempting. However, the home side have a new coach at the helm and that adds an unknown factor to our predictions.
If we look at the goal scoring history of this game we find that both teams have scored in six out of the last seven league games between the two sides in San Sebastian. In fact, Sevilla have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 14 visits to the Anoeta. You can back Both Teams to Score at 4/6 with Bet365.
