Fulham`s quest for Premier League survival continues as they face a Tottenham Hotspur side battling for a top-four finish.

The size of the task facing Claudio Ranieri and his Fulham side is highlighted by the seven-point gap between them and safety. When goal difference is taken into account, the scenario looks even worse with Fulham likely needing to overcome an eight -point deficit to remain in the top flight.

The Cottagers` home form has not been too bad with just one defeat in their last five. That run yielded eight of their 14 points and they will hope to add to that by beating as top-half team for the first time this season. The closest they have come to achieving that was a 1-1 draw at home to ninth-ranked Leicester City.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur will look to bounce back from last weekend`s 1-0 home defeat to Manchester United. That defeat effectively ruled Spurs out of the title race while also reducing their cushion to the chasing pack in the race for a top-four finish.

Defeat on Sunday would leave Mauricio Pochettino`s men just four points ahead of fifth-ranked Arsenal and sixth-ranked Manchester United so there will be no room for complacency against the relegation strugglers.

Spurs have won 10 of their 12 away games this season, their only defeats coming at Arsenal and Watford, and they scored at least once in every game including nine in their last two.

Betting odds and tips

Claudio Ranieri already has one miracle on his CV and hauling Fulham to safety would rank as another. The London club have only faced one top six side at home this term and that ended in a 1-5 defeat to Arsenal. The scoreline might not be so emphatic this weekend due to the absence of both Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min, but the North Londoners have enough talent to step in against a side that already looks relegated.
