Manchester United vs Crystal Palace - Premier League preview and odds
May 21, 2017 15:00pm - Old Trafford
Premier League
Manchester United looked vulnerable last time out and could find it tough going against Sam Allardyce`s team of battlers at Old Trafford on Sunday.
United only have eyes for Europa League
Jose Mourinho`s men have failed to win any of their last five league matches and face another stiff test this weekend. Last time out, it took some goalkeeping heroics from Sergio Romero to salvage a point away to Southampton. On home soil, they have drawn six of their last eight to leave themselves languishing in sixth place in the Premier League table.
In their last match at Old Trafford, they were held 1-1 by relegation battlers Swansea City and relegated Hull City also came away from Manchester with a point back in February.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace secured their Premier League status in style with a 4-0 demolition of Hull City last time out. That win also brought to an end a three-game losing streak for the Eagles. Their last away match also brought them to Manchester as they fell 5-0 to Pep Guardiola`s Sky Blues. Prior to that, they triumphed 2-1 against Liverpool at Anfield, a pair of matches that highlights their inconsistency on the road.

Betting odds and tips
With the home side set to field a weakened squad, the visitors might fancy their chances of claiming another major scalp here, so there could be some value to be hand in the betting markets. United have not lost any of their last 16 home games but mitigating circumstances make the away win a tempting bet.
