Manchester City vs Burnley - Premier League Preview and Odds
October 21, 2017 15:00pm - Etihad Stadium
Premier League
Manchester City will look to make it 11 wins in a row when they welcome a Burnley side who are unbeaten in six to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The team from the northwest overcame Italian league leaders Napoli in their midweek Champions League clash and are now unbeaten in a competitive match since April. In the Premier League, they have lost just one of their last 25 matches and have won 11 of their last 12. It seems as if the pieces are finally falling into place for Pep Guardiola and his men.
In the midweek game, Raheem Sterling continued his good run of form and bagged another goal to take his total tally for the season to eight a record also matched by forward Gabriel Jesus. With Sergio Aguero also in great shape, the pre-season favourites are looking unstoppable going forwards and should cause Burnley plenty of problems this weekend.
The Citizens already have an incredible 29 goals (21 more than Burnley) to their name and have only conceded four. In their last league outing they thrashed Stoke City 7-2 to maintain their place at the top of the table despite a strong challenge from their city rivals.
Burnley seem have resolve the problems that plagued them away from home last season and are currently unbeaten on the road, having won two and drawn two of their four games so far. They have only scored eight goals all term but have only been beaten once. As a result, they are currently sat in seventh place in the table and look to be establishing themselves as long-term members of the Premier League elite.
They come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham to extend their unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions.

Betting odds and tips
Burnley are tough to beat but Manchester City seem to be able to break down whatever is put in front of them at the moment. And considering their record of just four goals conceded, the home win to nil is well worth worth considering.
Raheem Sterling also looks like a decent bet in the anytime goalscorer market at a price of 5/6.
You can back the win to nil at 8/11 and Raheem Sterling to score anytime at 5/6 with bet365.
