Crystal Palace will be looking to break a five-game winless and goalless streak on Saturday when they welcome top-four contenders Tottenham Hotspur to Selhurst Park in the Barclays Premier League.

Palace struggling since Christmas

With no goals and no wins in the league since Christmas Day, one could be forgiven for thinking that the Crystal Palace players may have over-indulged during the holiday period. Whatever the reason for their downturn, boss Alan Pardew will be keen to nip it in the bud before his side slides any further down the Premier League table.

Despite their poor form and lack of goals, the South Londoners are still in the top half of the table with a respectable haul of 31 points, and they remain closer to the top four than the bottom three.

Last time out, they were soundly beaten 4-0 by a rampant Manchester City team and prior to that they went down 1-0 to league stragglers Aston Villa.

Spurs keen to extend top-four residency

It took Spurs a while to break into the top four this term, but since arriving in their lofty position, they have remained consistent and held on to their fourth-ranked status.

The North London side have not lost an away game since the opening day of the season, and will be coming into this game on the back of a 4-1 thrashing of Sunderland in the league and a 2-0 win away to Leicester in the FA Cup.

Team news

Palace could welcome back Yannick Bolasie but Damien Delany and Kwesi Appiah are both still out.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino will have to make do without Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb.
