Serie A preview and odds: Napoli vs AC Milan
February 22, 2016 20:00pm - Stadio San Paolo
Serie A
Second-ranked Napoli will face a tough challenge on Monday night when they welcome and ever-improving Milan side to the San Paolo for this Serie A clash.
Napoli can regain top spot
Napoli were knocked off top spot in Serie A by Juventus last week, but with the reigning champions drawing against Bologna on Friday, the team from Naples now have a great opportunity to regain the lead by grabbing all three points against Milan.
The Partenopei have only been beaten once at home in the league this season - that defeat came at the hands of the other team from Milan, Inter. They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Villarreal in the Europa League.
One defeat in 11 for Milan
Milan have only lost one of their last 11 games in Serie A and are unbeaten in their last seven. Away from home, they are unbeaten in five, having won two and drawn three. As a result, Mihajlović`s men have risen to sixth place in the table, six points adrift of the first Champions League qualification spot.
In their last game, I Rossoneri earned all three points with a 2-1 win at home to Genoa. Over the last 10 games, they have the third-best record in the league.
Team news
Sarri will be without the injured Alberto Grassi.
Meanwhile, Milan will have to cope without Juraj Kucka, Philippe Mexès and Rodrigo Ely, while Romagnoli remains a doubt.
