Leicester City can revive their hopes of finishing runners-up in the Premier League with a win over reigning champions Manchester City on Saturday evening.

Despite winning just one of their last five league matches, the Foxes are still nine-points clear of fourth-ranked Chelsea and look on course for Champions League qualification. But rather than looking over their shoulders, they will hope to move to within a point of second-ranked Manchester City.

Brendan Rodgers` men had won seven home games in a row before they drew 1-1 with struggling Norwich City. Since then, they have lost to Liverpool and Southampton, beaten West Ham United and drawn against Chelsea at the King Power Stadium. The defeat to Liverpool was the only time they have failed to score on home soil this season. And they have scored two or more goals at home on nine occasions.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are in the strange position of knowing their title defence is over with 12 games still left to play. They trail Liverpool by 22 points and the Reds have yet to be beaten this season. Pep Guardiola`s team have also been rocked by a two-year ban from European football subject to appeal.

Last time out, they eased past West Ham United at home to move four points clear of Saturday`s opponents. In their last away match, they were beaten 2-0 by Jose Mourinho`s Tottenham Hotspur. In total, they have lost four times on the road this term. The defeat to Spurs was the first time they had failed to score away from home in 23 matches. Predicted line-ups:

Betting odds and tips

This is a tough one to call. Backing City to win used to be easy but they have failed to win on the road five times this season. Likewise, Leicester`s invincibility at home has been breached in the last two months and they may lack motivation with little left to play for. With question marks over both teams, the draw shouts value at 10/3.
