Euro 2016 preview and odds: Croatia vs Spain
Stade de Bordeaux - Bordeaux
Group stage - Group D
Already-qualified Spain won`t make too many changes for their Group D clash against a Croatia side who still need a point to progress.
A point will be enough for Croatia
Croatia need a draw or better to be guaranteed a place in the last 16 of Euro 2016. Opponents Spain have already qualified but will be looking to top the group with maximum points after beating Czech Republic and Turkey.
Failure to grab a point could see Croatia overtaken by Czech Republic who face Turkey in Group D`s other game. The Croatians one and only victory against Spain came 22 years ago in a friendly. Their task will be made more difficult by the absence of Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric who is injured. The sides also met in the group stage of Euro 2012, when the reigning champions prevailed by a single goal on their way to second consecutive Euro triumph.
Croatia boss Ante Čačić is viewing this game as a straight battle for supremacy in Group D and will be going for the win. His team have certainly been playing some great football and could cause the Spanish some problems.
Vicente del Bosque has hinted that he will resist making too many changes as he does not want to disrupt the momentum of his team. With that in mind, a very competitive game can be expected.
Form (all competitions):
Croatia: DWWWDWWWWL
Spain: WWLWWDDWWW

Croatia are playing good football but the Spanish are growing stronger with each game and will be playing with less pressure on Tuesday. As a result, they are well priced at 21/20.
