Euro 2016 preview and odds: Northern Ireland vs Germany
Parc des Princes - Paris
Group stage - Group C
Tournament debutants Northern Ireland need a win to take them through to the last 16 of Euro 2016, while opponents Germany just need a draw to progress.
Big prize at stake for Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland are already guaranteed a reputable third place finish in Group C but will be looking to make history on Tuesday night by qualifying for the knockout phase at the first attempt. A win against the reigning world champions would guarantee a top-two finish and progression to the last 16, while a draw would leave them waiting on other results.
The British club lost their opener against Poland but bounced back with a 2-0 win against Ukraine to put themselves in with a chance. As a result, they will come into this game full of confidence, especially after watching the Germans draw against Poland.
Germany will want to maintain their unbeaten record but will also be keen to finish top of their group. Coming second to Northern Ireland or Poland would be seen as a negative for Joachim Low`s men. As a result, a strong line-up with minimal changes can be expected, although Thomas Muller may be shifted to a more forward role.
Meanwhile, Michael O`Neill is expected to make few changes to side that defeated Ukraine, although Kyle Lafferty may return up front.
Form (all competitions):
Northern Ireland: WLDWWDWDWD
Germany: DWDLWWWWWD
Betting predictions
Germany have been unconvincing they still have a squad full of talent that is capable of beating anyone on their day. However, Northern Ireland have momentum coming into this game and could just cause an upset by sharing the points.
