Everton will look to bounce back from yet another miserable night in European competition when they welcome sixth-ranked Arsenal to Goodison Park on Sunday.

With just two wins in their last 12 matches in all competitions, it has not been an ideal start to the season for the Toffees. They are currently sat in 15th place in the Premier League table and are bottom of their Europa League group with juts a point to their name.

They come into this game on the back of a 1-2 home defeat to Lyon, a result which piled even more pressure on under-fire boss Ronald Koeman. Prior to that, they picked up a point in the league thanks to a 1-1 draw away to Brighton. However, they have failed to find the net in four of their last six Premier league matches and their lack of goal scoring threat could cost them this term.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will feel that they should have got a point if not more from last week`s trip to Watford but somehow ended up on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline. The Gunners responded well in their midweek Europa League game, grabbing all three points from a tricky trip to Crvena Zvezda in Serbia.

While it hasn`t been a great start for Arsenal, they have lost just one of their last nine matches in all competitions and should feel confident of taking advantage of an out-of-sorts Everton side.
