Premier League preview and odds: West Bromwich Albion vs Burnley
November 21, 2016 20:00pm - The Hawthorns
Premier League
West Bromwich Albion and Burnley will both be looking to break into the top 10 of the Premier League when they meet in a mid-table clash at the Hawthorns on Monday night.
Mid-table neighbours go head-to-head
West Bromwich Albion are currently sitting in 12th place in the Premier League, just one place below Monday night`s opponents. A win on Monday could elevate them back in to the top 10 with 12 games played.
Tony Pulis` men are coming into this game on the back of an impressive 2-1 win away at reigning champions Leicester City in which they conceded a goal for the eighth consecutive game. That victory was just their third of the season and their second away from home. The Baggies have been typically inconsistent this term and have yet to beat a team currently above them in the league. Their best form has come away from home, where they have picked up 64% of their points.
Meanwhile, Burnley will look to improve their poor away form, which has so far yielded just one goal (at Southampton) and a single point (courtesy of a 0-0 draw at Manchester United last time out). Prior to that, they lost three straight away games, conceding three goals in each.
Sean Dyche`s team have the joint-third best home point`s tally in the league and the joint-worst away record. If they can reverse that trend on Monday night they could lift themselves to ninth place in the table.
Team news
The home side will hand a lat fitness test to Nacer Chadli, while Salomon Rondon and Jonas Olsson should both return.
Meanwhile, Stephen Ward remains the only slight doubt for the visitors. He will face a fitness test on Monday but is expected to at least make the squad.

Burnley: WDWLL
Betting odds and tips
With 93% of their points and 91% of Burnley`s goals coming at home, the prospects do not look good for Burnley. However, West Brom have not been great at home and have yet to beat a team above them in the table.
As a result, the draw looks like a decent bet for this game at a price of 23/10.
