Chelsea vs Burnley - Premier League Preview and Odds
April 22, 2019 20:00pm - Stamford Bridge (London)
Premier League
Fifth-ranked Chelsea can move back into third place in the Premier League (on a temporary basis at least) with a win over 15th-ranked Burnley on Monday night. Meanwhile, the visitors are not mathematically safe from relegation and will be keen to seal their top-flight status as soon as possible with a tough run-in ahead.
The Blues have won five of their last six matches in all competitions, their only defeat coming against league leaders Liverpool. In the Premier League, they are unbeaten in their last seven at home, having won five and drawn two, and conceded just two goals in that time.
Overall, Maurizio Sarri`s men have lost just one home game in the league this term, a 0-1 defeat to Leicester City back in December. With just three points separating third and sixth place, there is still all to play for in the race for a top-four finish.
A run of three-straight wins, at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cardiff City and away to AFC Bournemouth, has moved Burnley to within a touching distance of Premier League safety. The Clarets recovered from a dismal start to the season to haul themselves to 39 points with four games still to play.
However, Sean Dyche`s men will not relax until they are mathematically safe and even then, they will look to finish as high up the table as possible. On their last visit to Stamford Bridge, they ran out 3-2 winners although they have been beaten twice at home by the Londoners since.
Burnley`s biggest problem this season have come away from home. They only won one of their first nine away games this term, but have improved since the turn of the year, winning three, drawing two and losing three. All their wins on the road have come against teams in the bottom seven.

Betting odds and tips
Burnley have found some form at the right time but they have a tough run-in and will do well to pick up many more points. Chelsea are also enjoying a decent spell of form and have been very strong at home all season. With a top-four finish at stake, the hosts have plenty to play for and will be feeling the pressure but should have enough to get the job done.
Eden Hazard has scored six league goals at Stamford Bridge this season including two in their last home game against West Ham United. The Belgian can be backed at the best price of 22/25 to add to their tally at any time.
You can back Hazard as Anytime Goalscorer at 22/25.
