Liverpool will look to maintain their 100% record in the current Premier League campaign when they head to London to take on ninth-ranked Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp`s men have yet to drop a point and will kick-off two points clear of closest rivals Manchester City. However, they have only kept one clean sheet and are still without first-choice keeper Alisson who has been out injured since leaving the field in the opening game of the season against Norwich.

The Reds slumped to a disappointing defeat in their opening Champions League game in Naples on Tuesday but will hope to bounce back against a Chelsea who were beaten at home in Europe on the same night.

The Reds have won their last six Premier League away games and only Manchester City have beaten them in their last 21 games on the road.

Meanwhile, Chelsea fell 1-0 at home to Valencia in mid-week and have not had the best start in the league losing on the first day away to Manchester United and drawing twice at home since. However, they showed some strong form in the 5-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

Frank Lampard has shown faith in the club`s youngsters and that policy seems to be paying off with Abraham (hat-trick), Tomori and Mount all finding the net against Wolves.

It took penalties to separate the two teams in the recent UEFA Super Cup final and the corresponding fixture last season ended in a 1-1 draw. However, Liverpool are in the middle of one of the best runs of form in their history, while the Blues are in the midst of a transition period.

Chelsea are still finding their feet under Frank Lampard while Liverpool have upped their game in the league this season. Both sides will look to bounce back from midweek defeats in European competition but Liverpool`s front line should prove too much for Chelsea`s leaky defence which has already shipped 11 goals this term.
