Champions League - Group Stage
Groups G table-toppers Leicester City will look to confirm their progression to the knockout stages of the Champions League when they face bottom-of-the-table Club Brugge at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.
Leicester City going strong in Europe
They may be struggling in the defence of their Premier League crown but Leicester City have so far excelled on the European stage. As a result, Tuesday night`s game may come as welcome relief for Claudio Ranieri and his men.
A win against the only side in Group G yet to earn a point would virtually guarantee top spot for the Foxes, handing them a more favourable draw in the knockout stages.
They come into this game on the back of a Premier League defeat to Watford in which they conceded twice early on and were unable to recover. Despite the 2-1 score-line, Ranieri`s men did not perform too badly overall and will look to iron out some defensive niggles in time for Tuesday`s match.
Meanwhile, Club Brugge will be looking to salvage some pride from their disastrous Champions League campaign. The Belgian side have lost all four of their games so far and are firmly rooted to the bottom of the table on zero points. To make matters worse, they have only scored a single goal having already conceded 10.
There is a scenario in which the Group G stragglers could bag third place in the group and qualify for the Europa League but their form so far suggests that this outcome is unlikely.
The only positive for Michel Preud`homme`s men is that they come into this game on the back of a 0-1 away win at Sint-Truiden which extended their unbeaten run in their domestic campaign to five games.
However, they were well beaten by Leicester (0-3) when they hosted them at the Jan Breydelstadion back in September and will do well to come away with anything from this game.
Team news
The home side have some injury concerns that could hinder their dominance in this game. Islam Slimani (groin), Kasper Schmeichel (hand), Ben Chilwell (muscle), Nampalys Mendy (ankle) and Matthew James are all out of action, while Leonardo Ulloa is also a doubt.
Meanwhile, the visitors should have a near-to-full strength side to choose from.

Betting odds and tips
Leicester have yet to concede a goal in their debut Champions League campaign and are playing a team that has scored just once so far in Group G.
As a result, the home win to nil looks like a decent bet and is available at around 7/4 with most bookies.
