League Cup
Hull City will be looking to take their second Premier League scalp in this competition when they welcome Leicester City to the KC Stadium in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
Hull enjoying home run
In the last round, Steve Bruces men squeezed past Swansea by a goal to nil and will now play their third straight home game in the competition. They last reached this stage back in 2013 when they were knocked out on penalties by Tottenham Hotspur.
The Tigers are currently enjoying a six game unbeaten run in the league that has left them in sixth place in the Championship table. While they will be enjoying their cup run, their priority will be securing an immediate return to the Premier League after last seasons heart-breaking relegation.
Short trip north for the Foxes
Leicester continue to defy expectations with their performances in the Premier League and are now in with a chance of making the quarter-finals of a competition that they have won on three previous occasions. They first lifted this trophy in 1964 and added two more crowns in 1997 and 2000. The Foxes reached the last eight in 2013 before being dumped out by Manchester City.
Claudio Ranieris team started this years campaign with a 1-4 away win at Bury before defeating fellow Premier League side West Ham United by two goals to one (after extra-time) in the last round. They now face a short trip north to take on recently-relegated Hull City on Humberside.
Team news
Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa may feature after returning from a knock otherwise Matthew James is the only player still on the Foxes crocked list.
Hull City will be without defender Curtis Davies who faces a month on the side-lines after tearing a calf muscle in last weeks league win against Ipswich Town.
