Champions League - Group Stage
Borussia Monchengladbach will look to keep their Champions League dream alive when they welcome Group C rivals Manchester City to Borussia Park on Wednesday night.
Both sides can still qualify for the knockout stages
Borussia Monchengladbach may have to beat Manchester City and Barcelona to stand any chance of progressing to the knockout stage but while there is still hope, the German side will keep on fighting.
Andre Schubert`s men gave their campaign a massive boost by beating Celtic 2-0 in their own backyard on the last matchday and will be looking to continue their strong home form in this competition which has seen them lose just one of their last five matches (a 1-2 defeat to Barcelona).
In the Bundesliga, the Foals have lost just one of their last 13 matches on home soil - however, that defeat came last weekend against Köln. Away from home, they have been poor and as a result, they are currently languishing in 13th place in their domestic league.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will look to consolidate their place in the top two of Group C by bagging their first away win of the group stage.
Pep Guardiola`s men drew at Celtic (3-3) and lost in Barcelona (0-4) and are just two points clear of this Wednesday`s opponents. A win would secure their progress, while a draw would take matters to the final day.
The Citizens come into this game on the back of a four-game unbeaten run which included a 3-1 home win over group leaders Barcelona. Last time out, they edged to a 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace in the Premier League to lift themselves to third in the table.
Team news
The home side will be without the suspended duo of Christoph Kramer and Julian Korb, and the injured group of Patrick Hermann (ankle), Marvin Schulz (hip), Moritz Nicolas (hand) and Alvaro Dominguez (back).
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without Vincent Kompany (head) and Fabian Delph (hip).

Betting odds and tips
The home side have hit a sticky patch of form but they still have a decent home record. With Barcelona still to play, this could be a make or break game for the Germans and there should be a pulsating atmosphere in Borussia Park.
City won 4-0 when the teams met in England back in September and will be clear favourites to win. Nonetheless, this should be a fast-paced open game and both teams can be expected to get on the scoresheet.
