Chelsea will look to move within touching distance of the Premier League trophy when they welcome a resurgent Swansea city side to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

One defeat in 19 for Blues

League leaders Chelsea can move a step closer to the Premier title with a win this weekend. The Blues have a comfortable eight-point gap at the top of the table with just 13 games left to play. However, they will still want to avoid any slip ups with their rivals waiting to pounce.

Antonio Conte`s men have won their last nine games in a row and have scored two goals or more in eight of those matches. In total, they have won all but one of their home games, scoring in every one.

Meanwhile, Swansea City will arrive in London in good spirits, having won three of their last four Premier League matches. The Welsh club have be revitalised under manager Paul Clement and have climbed out of the relegation zone. They can now realistically set their sights on a mid-table finish.

Away from home, the Swans have won two of their last three with the only defeat coming by way of a last minute Gabriel Jesus goal at Manchester City. However, they have conceded at least one goal in all but one of their away matches this term,

Team news

Thibaut Courtois has and illness and is a doubt for the home side.

Meanwhile, Nathan Dyer ( achilles), Sung-Yueng Ki (knee) and Jefferson Montero (hamstring strain) are all out of action for the home side, while Leon Britton (back spasm) is a doubt.
