Champions League Group Stage
Home side PSV will try to get their Champions League campaign back on track when they host English side Tottenham Hotpsur at the Philips Stadion on Wednesday night.
The Dutch side have won all nine of their domestic matches this term and are five points clear of Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie. So far, so good in terms of their title push. In the Champions League, things have not gone so well as they lost their opening two games against Barcelona and Inter.
In their last game against Inter, they pushed the Italians close and that will give them hope they can take something from this game. A win would give Mark van Bommel`s men advantage in the race for third spot in the group while giving them an outside chance of finishing in the top two.
There is a burning desire in the Netherlands to put Dutch football back on the European map, butAjax are currently leading the way in that respect, sitting atop Group E with seven points from three games following their win over Benfica.
Tottenham Hotspur may seem like a fearsome opponent for PSV but the English side are still struggling to come to terms with European football. Despite occupying fifth spot in the Premier League just two points behind leaders Manchester City, they have yet to register a point in this yearÂ’s Champions League.
The Londoners come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win away to West Ham United to make it four wins in a row in the Premier League. Yet they have only won four of their last 14 matches away from home in this competition.
Mauricio Pochettino`s men were competitive in their defeats to Inter and Barcelona but lacked to cutting edge of both those teams. They may struggle against the quick attacking play favoured by the Dutch and will do well to come away with a point. However, they should at least get on the scoresheet.

Betting odds and tips
PSV have netted 10 goals without reply in their last two league matches, and will hope to carry that form into this game. Spurs will need to contain their opponents while looking to score on the break. This should make for an entertaining game with a decent goal count expected.
You can back Over 2.5 Goals at 4/6.
