Premier League preview and odds: Swansea City vs West Bromwich Albion
December 26, 2015 15:00pm - Liberty Stadium
Premier League
Swansea City we still be without a permanent coach when they kick off their run of festive Premier League matches against West Brom at the Liberty Stadium on Boxing Day.
Swansea looking to end winless streak
Caretaker manager Alan Curtis will once again be in charge as the Swans look to halt their seven-game winless run. With just one win in their last 14, the Welsh side have slipped into the bottom three and are facing up to the reality of a relegation battle. Despite their woes, there have been signs of improvement in the last two games, however, it is points not performances that the club need right now.
In their last game, they held West Ham to a 0-0 draw on home soil and will be hoping to improve on that by overcoming a West Brom side that are winless in four.
Baggies without a win in four
West Brom have not won a Barclays Premier League game since they beat Arsenal 2-1 five weeks ago, and that was their only win in their last seven matches. On their last two away trips they held Liverpool (2-2) and West Ham (1-1) to score draws, but they have won just one of their last five on the road.
The Baggies come into this game on the back of a 1-2 home defeat to AFC Bournemouth in which James McClean and Salomon Rondon were both sent off. That results leaves them in 15th place in the table just five points clear of their opponents.
Team news
Swansea will be without Franck Tabanou and Eder, while Wayne Routledge could return after missing the game against West Ham with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, the visitors will be without the suspended pair of James McClean and Salomon Rondon.

Betting odds and tips
Both sides have struggled recently with West Brom recording the only win for either side in the last seven Match Days.
The Swans held the Hammers to a draw in their last home game, and the Baggies have drawn their last two away fixtures. The draw looks like a very good bet at 12/5 with Bet365.
