Premier League preview and odds: Tottenham Hotspur vs Norwich City
December 26, 2015 15:00pm - White Hart Lane
Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to consolidate their position in the Premier League`s top four on Boxing Day when they welcome a resurgent Norwich City to White Hart Lane.
Spurs staking top-four claim
Tottenham have taken full advantage of a faltering Manchester United side to claim fourth place in the Premier League table. Despite losing their first game since the opening day of the season two weeks ago, the Londoners have continued to score more points than their rivals from the north and have now overtaken them in the table.
In their last game, Spurs got back to winning ways with an impressive 2-0 win away to Southampton. The victory brought to an end a winless run of three games. Despite breaking into the top four, Mauricio Pochettino`s men are still nine points behind league leaders Leicester City.
Norwich showing steady improvement
After some decent performances that went unrewarded, Norwich finally seem to be turning hard work into points as they battle to retain their Premier League status. The highlight of their recent resurgence came last weekend when they took all three points away from their trip to Old Trafford.
The Canaries have lost just one of their last four games and have picked up five points in the process. As a result they have risen to 16th in the table, two points clear of the bottom three.
Team news
Spurs should have all of their first choice players available, with few changes from the team that beat Southampton expected.
Meanwhile, Norwich will be without Matt Jarvis, while Andre Wisdom faces a late fitness test. Declan Rudd is once again expected to continue in goal ahead of John Ruddy.

Betting odds and tips
Spurs have not been very convincing at White Hart Lane, having won just two of their last five on home soil. However, prior to their win at Old Trafford, Norwich had lost four away games in a row. A full strength Spurs side should have what it takes to edge past their lowly opponents.
Tottenham to win by a two-goal margin can be backed at 10/3 with Bet365.
