Leicester City are one of seven teams with a realistic chance of grabbing sixth place in the Premier League. A Boxing Day win against reigning champions Manchester City would give them a massive boost as they look to close the four-point gap to sixth-ranked Manchester United.

The 2015/16 champions may not be in contention for the title but they have had a solid campaign so far. They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win at Chelsea which broke a two-game losing streak.

On home soil, the Foxes have not been as dominant as they would have hoped, winning three, drawing two and losing three of the eight games they have played. Their two previous home games against top four sides both ended in defeat.

The East Midland`s club have lost their last five matches against City in all competitions, their last win coming via a 4-2 home in in their championship winning season.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will still be reeling from their 2-3 home defeat to Crystal Palace which left them four points behind leaders Liverpool. With Klopp`s men in superb form, the Sky Blues cannot afford to drop many more points between now and the end of the campaign if they want to retain their crown.

The Citizen`s only away defeat in their last 15 came on their trip to Chelsea last time out. After two defeats in their last three games, Pep Guardiola will be keen to get their season back on track with a convincing win on Boxing Day. Recent Form (League)
