Premier League
Newly-promoted Hull City will look to escape the bottom three when they take to the field against mid-table maestros West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.
Hull looking for second straight home win
Hull City look set to be involved in this season`s relegation battle. Any early promise was diluted by an awful run of eight defeats in 10 matches that has left them stuck in the bottom three.
The Tigers did win their last home match (a 2-1 victory over Southampton) but followed it up with a 3-0 defeat at bottom-of-the table Sunderland that left them just two point clear of David Moyes` men.
Prior to that recent home win, the Yorkshire side had scored just once in three home matches. However, they failed to keep a clean sheet for the 10th game running.
Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion continue to do just enough to keep themselves clear of trouble. Tony Pulis` team come into this match on the back of consecutive wins away to Leicester City (1-2) and at home to Burnley (4-0) that have lifted them to ninth place in the table. A win on Saturday could lift them into the top eight depending on other results.
The Baggies have struck at least once in all but one of their away games this season but have only kept one clean sheet. However, they are now facing the team with the joint-worst home scoring record in the league.
Team news
Hull City continue to top the injury table with several players still out of action including Abel Hernandez (groin), Will Keane (ACL), Moses Odubajo (knee), Greg Luer (knee) and Alex Bruce (Achilles), while Shaun Maloney will face a late fitness test after suffering from a back problem.
Meanwhile, the away side will be without Boaz Myhill (knock), while Nacer Chadli (knee) and Saido Beranhino are both doubts.

Betting odds and tips
So far this season, Hull City have conceded at least one goal in all of their home matches, and in their last 5 away matches. As a result, Mike Phelans men are likely to concede at least once in this game. In addition, they have failed to score in three of their six home games.
Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion have netted at least once in five of their six away games. With these stats in mind, the away win to nil looks like the best value bet.
